Milly's - Sponsored Advertorial

I am always happy to do advertorials.

Writing is such a breeze!

Another reason to love advertorials: most of the stuff I advertise for happens to be goooooooood!

I really like the service / products and if I knew about it without having them ask me to advertise for them, I'd still go for their stuff by myself.

If it's bad, I wouldn't dare to advertise here anyway, since you guys might complain!

Since I'm making the effort to introduce you babes good stuff, MUST SUPPORT THE SHOPS THAT HAVE CHOSEN TO ADVERTISE WITH ME (wise choice! =P),

...okkkk??

Anyway, you girls should love me for this!

I'm always advertising blogshops, but here's an awesome change:

A retail shop at the heart of every teenager's favourite shopping haunt!

It is at none other than FAR EAST PLAZA!

Famously known for its affordable fashion apparels, but fret not, other goodies besides clothes and accessories can be found at FEP as well!

Such as,

Milly's!!! - Hair. Lashes. Nails.

Located at Far East Plaza, #02-83. Tell them you're Underage-Girl/Jessica's reader for discount!

---------------------

Milly offers all kinds of services that girls like us were never good at ourselves~

Face the facts, girls - most of us singaporeans are not blessed with thick, luscious hair, and neither do we have long volumous lashes.

But good hair and nice lashes make all the difference!!!

Sad but true. Thankfully for us, everything can be fake nowadays! From contact lenses to boobies to lashes and hair.

Yes, faux lashes!

Seemingly VERY popular in Singapore.. I have angmoh friends who have never heard of such things - they don't need it.

But we do!

And I KNOW FOR A FACT, that MANY Singaporean girls are HOPELESS at putting on faux lashes.

.
.
.

I've seen it myself - the eyelash horrors.

And many girls have asked me how do I do it all the time!

.
.

I can empathize, I know the problem with faux lashes: They either don't stick at all or keep dropping off, it looks too fake no matter what you do, the ends keep fluttering around, it hurts your eyes, etc etc...

Fake lashes are supposed to make you look better.

If you look like someone who can't put on fake lashes.... you're better off without them.

What you need is to let someone else do the lashes for you!!!

Mmmmhm, EYELASH EXTENSIONS are what I'm talking about! Every lazy (or so they call it "practical") girl's lifesaver.

Strands of eyelash glued onto your eyelid that would last you probably about a month.. You don't have to worry about putting them on every day or have them falling off as long as you take good care of them!

All your faux lashes worries will disapppearrrrrrrrrrr!

Milly asked me to do some eyelash extensions, but I've school, so I got my hip mummy to do it instead!

Milly doing extensions for my mum!

It's not her first time doing eyelash extensions, btw. My mum is so cool. *jaw drops*

My beautttiiiffulllllll mother!! Looking EXTRA beautiful with her new eyelash extensions ;)

Come on babes, (or dudes) it's time to show mummy some love. Most mothers haven't a clue what on earth are eyelash extensions,

and I'm sure if your mum is the sort who loves to look beautiful - She'd LOVE you to bring her for some eyelash extensions!

Depending on the thickness and length you want, eyelash extensions can either look very NATURAL or very DRAMATIC.

My mum's one is sort of in the middle!

If you think you're an expert, you can also just purchase faux lashes from Milly's since she has them for sale as well~

And of course, Milly is expert when it comes to all kinds of hairs.. (except armpit la!)

So she also has HAIR EXTENSIONS!
Yayayaya

I know alot of girls would be very interested in this, since I get loads of questions about both my lashes and hair at the same time!

Milly offers two types of hair extensions, such as how she offers two types of lashes:
She has the clip-on one,

Presenting to you, my trademark hair extension photo:

kindly modelled by some lost guy I picked up from the street, HAHAHA!

I've blogged about this before, and that blogshop owner told me she sold out all her stocks within a few days! Yipee.

So now they're back!! With different colours and different designs, once again you girls will be spoilt for choice.

Brief summery on what clip-on extensions are : Unlike the permanent ones, these clip-on are ptetty self-explanatory. You simply clip it onto your head (very simple, takes like 2 seconds?) and you can remove it as and when you like!
Very convenient and affordable.

If you're interested, get Milly to show you how to clip them on!

They are very natural, heres a pic of me of my original hair length without clip-on extensions:

.

.

.

And here's a pic of me with it!!! (Sidetrack: I MISS MY BANGS!!! Should I go cut again?!)

And she also has...

LOADS of permanent hair extensions!!! Of course, by "permanent", I actually mean a few months cuz you'd have to take them out by then.

You can put them back on after removing the tangles though!

With so many different colours and styles, you are bound to find something that suits you perfectly.
She even has crazy colours like pink!

Who would be so silly as to keep their hair for years just to let it grow long,
when you can have extremely long natural-looking hair in a few mere minutes with these hair extensions?!
P.S, just thought I'd like to include I've read somewhere before that most guys are attracted to girls with long and beautiful hair!

Ooooo... guess who else was there, making her hair BEAU-TI-FUL?
ESTHER aka Ice Angel from the-miracle-season.bs.com!

Hehehe. Don't you guys love her new hair?

If you guys haven't noticed, there are actually quite a few other bloggers who have recommended Milly's!

Esther chose the braiding method, which I heard is really comfortable!

One advantage this has over the clip-on extensions is that the clip-ons tend to feel heavier and more uncomfortable, you'd have to get used to the feeling.

.

.

.

Esther and Jessica were not the only ones @ Milly's...
Isaac and Fidelis were there too!!

Isaac, Jess, Fidelis and a bunch of hairs.

Woot, a band of bloggers all squeezed into Milly's shop! =P
The place is really cosy, and the shop owner (Milly duh) is UBER FRIENDLY!

We kept camwhoring and chatting and sometimes we forget we're in someone elses shop.
We took lotssss of photos, but since this is an advertorial post, let's keep the content relevant shall we.. ;)

Check it out, she has awesome bling bling accessories for sale as well! I LIKEEYY!!

.

.

.

Here's the lovable shop owner, MILLY!!

She makes all your prettiest hair and lashes fantasies come true! =P
Of course, milly does more than just lashes and extensions...

.
.
.

Here's an incomplete list of what Milly's offers :
"Permanent" hair extensions - $1 per Strand (its more of a "small bunch of hair" than a Strand. Very affordable, since salons like Jean Yip etc do it for around $5 per strand)

"Clip-on" hair extensions - $23.90 for 8cm in width, $29.90 for $12cm in width

Eyelash extensions - $58 (for a month's worth of beautiful lashes that are no hassle at all, hey, why not?!)

Eyebrow threading - $10

Upper lip "aka moustache" threading - $10

I personally really like this advertorial, since the location is so convenient - second floor of far east plaza! after you get tired of shopping and walking around, why not pop in to do your lashes?

Oh yea, don't forget to
mention you're JESSICA aka UNDERAGE-GIRL's READER
while you're at Milly's, to enjoy exclusive discounts!!!

.

Looking beautiful is no longer a secret.

Jessy baby very crazy!

Cuzzz... look what happened to her Ah Poh!!

OMG!!

What happened to my sweetie pie and who's this emo bitch?!

...................

Her eyeliner scares me!!! So fierce :(

Didn't take Jessy long to make Emo Poh smile!

She's not the only FIERCEEEE one! Check out my killer expression.

I think I must be damn interesting,

since people want to take photos of me even when I'm doing something extremely uninteresting such as squatting down while talking on the phone.

ANYWAY!!!!

Prelims are less than a week's time.. First paper is this Friday, I think.

I don't know when my papers are. I always go to school and my classmates are like, "Eh later got exam/test leh."

And I'd ALWAYS be like, "Oh is it?"

.

.

.

Seemingly always busy, yet never busy with the things I should be busy with.

I just feel that there are so much other things in life I'd rather do than to study.

I know, hardly anybody likes to study but I'm kinda stubborn.. So yeah, it gets kinda hard trying to convince myself that I should study.

I don't know when my love for studies died!!! It's really sad.

I used to always aim to be top 10 in Primary School, and I'd love bringing home good grades to show my parents! Whenever I was bored, I'd take out my Science textbook to read cuz I was extremely curious about learning new things..

When I was in P3 and finished reading my textbooks during leisure time, I'd buy my P4 and P5 textbooks to read!!!!

I was THAT interested!

..Then slowly, unfortunately, I have no idea when exactly did I start losing my interest.

It's just one of those things that kinda happen without you noticing. And when you finally do, it feels like it's too late to save it.. Like cancer?

PRELIMS ARE IN A WEEK!!! That's just so motherfuckingfasssstttt.

Why does it seem that this year has passed incredibly quickly? And when I was in Sec 1, my days seemed to pass sooooo slowly!

I think this year is the fastest year I've ever lived. I can't believe August is nearing.

August would mean 2 years of me and James being together. 2 WHOPPING YEARS!!!!!!!

...Ok, so 2 years may not be all that long, but you can't deny it IS a LONG - TERM - RELATIONSHIP.

Sighhh ok back to topic about my studies.

I'd give anything to regain my love for my grades!!!!

I know if I put my heart to something, I can achieve it. There's no doubt about that.

But I guess I just feel as if I know that I can do it, so there is no need for me to prove myself to anyone other than myself who already knows what can be done or cannot be done.

Sounds stupid, yet incredibly true.

Who gives a fuck about what others think?! I used to say "I don't care" but still I kinda cared a LITTLE, but nowadays when I say I don't care, I REALLY DON'T CARE!

Thousands and gazillions of times I told myself I'd start studying, yet nothing has been done.

Damn, when I was in Sec 3, I swore to myself I'd study hard during Sec 4 for my o levels!!!!! Why am I so damn lazy?!

Its sad how in Singapore, your future depends on your certificate.

Anyone without a cert is automatically classified as "useless" or "hopeless"

Why can't there be more to life than just mindlessly memorizing formulas on textbooks and slogging away for your job?

Someone asked me why I don't blog about school life since most other girls at my age do that...

Very good question.

But I'll give you a better one - what IS there to blog about?!

It is a routine. Wake up at 6am, go to school, listen to teachers rant, go home. I'm not a school person.

True, school got friends, but not as though outside of school don't have friends what -___-

I actually find school to be the least interesting of my life, so the only time you'd ever catch me blogging about is when I want to complain.

I have nothing against MY SCHOOL (Holy Innocents High @ Hougang, stop asking)

I just don't like being told what to do 24/7.

In school, you're always being told what to do.

You're told to shut up, you're told to tie your hair neatly, you're told to walk faster, etc etc...

Right I am digressing too much.

It is 1am and I should get to sleep already, because I have SCHOOL tomorrow.

Anyway, the main point of this post is to remind myself that O levels are very very near...

And I should start studying not because it is good for me - I have a better reason...

My life is simply too good as it is now,

I cannot afford to mess it up by flunking some stupid exam that everybody's mad over.

Everything that I've built up from last year would all come crashing down on me.

And I really, really don't want that to happen...

Honestly, my life is perfect at the moment, all except for the F9s math and science brings me... And I loathe tuition, but am currently considering that option.

Anyone know of good tuition teachers? Do email Shiberty@hotmail.com. (subjects - e math, phy and chem combined science)

----------------------------

Prelims, prelims... My wake up call.

Reminder that I'm only 16, even though I haven't been acting like one.

I'm still somewhat a kid. Does this give me reason to shake off responsibilities?

Life is so good as it is now, I hate to think about the future.. Yet I fear not planning for the future would destruct the present.

What does life have in store for me, after the dreadful O levels?

I sure hope its more than just several other textbooks.

brazil football team / pearly's wedding!

On mum's car on the way to my cousin's wedding..

Not a very formal bag for a wedding but I love it cos its Chanel. *obsession*

My beloved grandmother, aunt, cousin, thyself, mother, and aunt aka Bride's Mum!

KOR KOR MA MA MEI MEI.

ROFL.

Yes, I've read the tags.. indeed my family = really tall! Btw, I was wearing 4 inch heels and my mum wasn't, so you can imagine her height!

AND YOU PEOPLE THOUGHT JESSICA'S TALL???

.

.

.

Anyway, you will never believe who Jessica miraculously bumped into @ Mandarin Hotel last night!

No, it's not an ex-boyfriend.....

.

.

.

No, it's not Steven Lim.. (even though I did see the twerp at Orchard a few days ago)

.

.

.

And nope, wasn't Lee Kuan Yew or Zoe Tay or other of Singapore's loves!

I was at the lobby waiting for to go into the ballroom for the wedding, minding my own business when I couldn't help but notice the funny yellow shirt the guy next to me was wearing...

Ignored his presence for awhile, since reporters and photographers and a crowd of people outside the hotel lobby captured my attention.

Wasn't before long before I noticed more big sized angmoh-ish guys wearing the same funny yellow shirt..

When I turned to my right and looked closely at who was next to me, I kinda freaked:

.
.
.

HOLY MACARONI,

It was the Brazil National Football Team!!!

OMGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111@@@

***SPASM****

I may not be a big fan of football, but I can't help feeling very star-struck.

I was told they just came back from practising at the national stadium and they're in Singapore to train for the Olympics / have a friendly match with the Lions! (WTF????)

And they're staying at Mandarin Hotel, which explains everything! The "funny yellow shirt" is indeed actually their jersey. *smacks forehead*

They are uber friendly and super nice even though they don't speak good english!!!

Hardly as arrogant as you think big-time football superstars would be, with their heartwarming smiles and gestures.

And I heard GUYS screaming from outside "Ronaldinho!!! I LOVE YOU!!"

LOL. Awfully gay yet awfully sweeeeeeet.

The fans couldn't come into the hotel cuz my cousin booked the place for her wedding & for security reasons, so "lucky me"!!

A really pleasant once-in-a-lifetime experience!! Meeting the brazil team & attending my cousin's wedding all in one night.

Brazil fans, are you envious?! Muahaha =P

---------------------------------------

Anyway, football frenzy aside...

WEDDINGS ARE SO LOVELY!!!!!!!!

Can't help feeling glad for my cousin.

Everything just seems so happy, so perfect, and everyone's having a good time..

I know I'm only 16, but I can't wait to get married!~~~~

I wonder when would be my turn? To meet my one true love that I'd stick by for the rest of my life?

I have many different thoughts about weddings!

1) I can't wait to put on that bridal gown and look absolutely beautiful and marry my true love and start a whole new life with kids and all!!!!!

But I'm also thinking..

2) I dread thinking about my wedding day because it makes me worry that nobody would ever wanna marry me

and I'm scared of marrying a drunkard / bastard / gambler / womanizer or marrying someone who would wanna divorce me :(

I've seen too many broken families and marriages to carry high hopes for my future wedding, IF I ever have one in the first place.

So many horror stories I've heard about men always cheating on their wives.. or vice versa..

I'd rather be unmarried forever than to marry a jerk!!

It is soooooooo damn sad to have to divorce your husband/wife, whatever happened to the vow of true love and sticking together through thick and thin?!

I have always believed that your wedding should be one of the happiest days in your life.

Divorcing your supposed life partner is bad enough, but divorcing AFTER having kids is just cruel!!!!

.

.

.

I wonder what would I look like on my wedding day?

WHAT IF I KEEP EATING AND KEEP GROWING FATTER AND I CANT SQUEEZE INTO A NICE BRIDAL GOWN IN THE FUTURE?????

..

..........

Kkkk got to stop all these random thoughts about wedding.

I am sooo young, and I should be thinking about things like my PRELIMS which are coming in a week's time!!!! :(

So yeah, guess I'd have to put away thoughts about getting married and just settle for thoughts about James for now...

We have really been trying to make things work, and I'm so pleased to say that things and working out really great!

Hmm.... What's this silly boy of mine doing???

My loverboy was helping me BUFF MY NAILS!!!!

Hehehehe soooo sweet isn't he.

He's like obsessed with shiny nails ever since he laid hands on my nail buffer!

Actually, not bad la, can consider James for marriage - wouldn't mind a husband who would diligently buff my nails every night. =P

Husband aka Manicurist sounds like fun.

While he was doing my nails...

Lying down beside him camwhoring, feeling an odd sense of satisfaction.

Good night everyone!

This was taken quite awhile ago.. Yes, James is not very tall, get over it, and he is very camera-shy, so he didn't talk much.

SENTOSA MADNESS! 20th July 2008

Photobucket

I told him that we're going Sentosa... so he dressed down.

But look at myself! LOL

Photobucket

Sometimes it feels as though the past 1 month didnt exist...

Photobucket

Even though there will be a hidden scar left behind,

..For now I'm just so glad that it's over. I hope the next "turbulance" doesn't come so soon!

Photobucket

.

.

.

"oie! come closer la. look happier when you're taking photos with me!"

.

.

.

Photobucket

There.. all better.

Photobucket

SUPER AWESOME DAY AHEAD OF US!!!

~~~
So off we went, to Vivo City... but in different ways.
He rode his bike there, I took the train there. LOL!
How cute can we get?! I refused to sit on his bike because I've had a serious phobia ever since the last bike accident, so yeah.
It was raining!!!! Bikes are so damn dangerous. Sheesh.
If only he could get a damn car T_____T
Anyway so we met up at Vivo City... and he bought the tickets for us to go into Sentosa! Yipee-yay.
Off we went to the ticketing counter....
Waiting for the tram to arrive..
Photobucket
He is absolutely ELATED to go to Sentosa with me. You can tell just from the GENUINE happy expression on his unforced face.
.
.
.
Onto the tram we go!
Alot of aunties were pushing around and running for the seats as though the tram ride was 12 hours -____-
What the hell are aunties gonna do in Sentosa, you tell me?! Scare all the tourists away with their ungraciousness and kiasu-ness, probably.
So anyways we STILL managed to get a seat in the end..
Photobucket
Our matching Mr.Bean Bear keychain that he got for us a long time ago!
Photobucket
See how he's always so intrigued by random stuff thats happening around us?!
It was raining cats and dogs..
But that certainly didn't get our spirits down! Much to my delight, James was extremely spontaneous and nice yesterday.
I love it when he's being extra nice to me :P
Time to reward the boy with more freedom and... a new belt! Wahahaha.
Photobucket
He says I'm like a kid.. Always grinning away and getting so excited at the littlest things
And then we reached Sentosa!!
Tried to find our way to the new 4D magix and CineBlast~~
I was super excited about checking out these two items cuz I dunno if I'm sua ku or what but I certainly have not heard of Sentosa have these items before!!
Check it out baby!!!!
It's a theatre in which you put on your magical 4d glasses and see the screen in front of you come alive! It looks quite real.
Anyway the theme was PIRATES! It was funny and all in the name of good fun. Hehehe.
They had little air guns tickling you all over... I screamed and screamed! Hahaha. Although it wasn't a new experience for me since I've been to several of these 4d theatres in genting and america before.
NOSTALGIA ALERT!!!! Reminds me of A Bugs Life 4d theatre in Disneyland!! God, I miss that place to bits. If I don't go overseas after my O levels, I'd be majorly pissed off!
Photobucket
Silly billy tried to act like Captain Jack Sparrow after he watched the show..
And then we lined up again for CineBlast!
Photobucket
It was pretty empty... Until some indians came along and pushed their way to the front!! Wtf.
Super rude!
Just because you're with a TOUR GROUP doesn't mean you don't need to queue what!!! Lao chee bong.
Photobucket
Tried to distract myself from all the FUCKING NOISY TOURISTS by camwhoring...
Photobucket
His most retarded expressions make me go weak in the knees
Photobucket
Then he BTH liao.. went to have a quick smoke to get away from the crowd awhile.
Photobucket
Left me all alone to fend for myself.. What else should a fair maiden like me to take away her troubles (aka surrounding annoying tourists) then to camwhore?! ;)
Photobucket
Yayyy! I love my new slippers. Wasn't very comfy at first but it feels sorta alright now.
My favourite colours, gold and white! I think the design is really chic and simple, I'm completely in love with it and it only costs 20 bucks! What a steal.
Photobucket
MATCHING BAG! Everybody knows this is my favourite bag, hehehe. Although I think it's time for me to get a new one, this one's starting to rot, have not been taking care of it...
Most of my shoes are either black, white, pink or gold.
I freak out when my accessories don't match.
I cannot stand it when people don't match their accessories, it looks horribly disorientated!
And finally after 13028320483974 years...
WE WERE LET INTO THE CINEBLAST!
It was quite cool inside, futuristic interior design, though I couldnt take any pictures cuz photography was disallowed.
But we had to wear the same 4d glasses, check it out:
Photobucket
So gangster, yo!
Photobucket
I swear I almost died while waiting!
THE BLOODY TOURISTS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SHUT UP!!! Omg it's worse than kopitiam la.
To make the whole experience worse, when I was finally seated,
this $%$%@^@ INDIAN GUY
WITH A HUMONGOUS XXL YELLOW TURBAN
SAT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME
AND BLOCKED MY VIEW THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
So inconsiderate I could almost pull his turban off. Totally ruined it for me!!!! He's so fucking tall already, (like 1.8+) and his turban was the size of a basketball!
The guy was the same guy who kept pushing us around in the queue while we were waiting for 4D magix!
Cheebong. I kept ranting and complaining to James.
Wanted to take a photo of him but I knew I'd probably do something mean like draw on his face and his family or something, so yea, abandoned the idea.
Well anyway, even though the experience was slightly tarnished by fuckingirritatingtourists, it was still pretty cool!
I'd rate the 4d Magix experience 3.5/5 stars,
and the Cineblast a whopping... 1.5/5 stars.
Cineblast is like a stimulator - the seat kinda moves around, you know? It was retarded in my opinion, made me feel kinda sick as well..
You guys should definitely go check out the Pirates 4d Magix!
It's not cheap horrrr... I paid $60 for the both of us. (for the 2 shows)
It was getting dark...
so we rushed over for the SKYRIDE!!!
We kept rushing to each attraction the whole day, it suddenly felt as though we were not in Singapore.
Reminded me of the time me and James were in Genting together, waiting for the rides.. Rushing to attraction after attraction and trying to figure our way around.
He really puts a smile onto my face.
Photobucket
I have been eyeing on this damn ride since forever, it looks freaking fun!! =DDDDDDDDDD
And finally I got to sit on it... HEHEHE~~~
Photobucket
It was like a cable car, except less high and more "OPEN!"
It felt damn cool to just dangle in the air like that!!!! =)
Although quite scary at first, it seemed harmless after awhile..
Photobucket
Look who's enjoying himself? =P
Photobucket
Reminds me of those Ski Lifts that I see in those snowy movies!
We took alot more pictures la, but alot of photos I will not be posting up here coz I look horribly ugly / messy / weird!
When we were getting off the skyride, we had to literally RUN OFF! Coz the skyride doesn't stop, and it moves quite fast, I almost fell off the seat while trying to jump off and run. LOL.
We ran to LUGE!!!!!1111
Photobucket
With our funny helmets on!
Photobucket
All ready, baby.
Luge is really simple to use and awesomely fun! It's like half-toboggan, half-go kart. You can totally control your speed and it was AWESOME RIDING IN THE NIGHT!
Too bad for those people who rode on the Luge in the day, because the NIGHT EXPERIENCE WAS ECSTASY!
It's hard to put it in words,
the way the wind was blowing my hair all over the place,
adrenaline pumping hard through my veins,
speeding downhill and seeing James right in front of me screaming "AIYAYAYAYA!!!" like a barbarian..
All while surrounded by BEAUTIFUL COLOURFUL LIGHTS!
They lit up the course track so beautifully =)
It's a moment I won't be forgetting so soon. I really wasn't expecting it to feel this magical. It didn't feel as "rough" as what a go-kart experience should feel like.
It felt extremely cool and fun, cuz it was at night... Somehow I wished that time could have just stopped there.
I left all my worries far behind at that moment.
Felt as though the more I raced down the track, the further away I was from my worries...
The next time you go LUGE-ing in the night, look out for the AWESOME LIGHTS and think of me OK! I really love the lights sooo much.
James was going sooo fast! I kept slowing down cuz I was afraid of flying out of the kart. LOL
Photobucket
FIERCE RACER PREPARING FOR F1!!!!!
Photobucket
Me looking as happy as I sound.
..
.
.
And finally,
Photobucket
ULTRA CUTENESSSSSIIITYYY~
The other photo we bought from the photobooth!! We spent alot of money on Sentosa yesterday, like 200+???
Got off the luge....
Went to have our mini-dinner before preparing to watch Songs Of The Sea!
Hahaha sounds very eventful, eh?
We only reached there at 5, I was convinced we didn't have enough time to finish all the things I wanna do, but to my absolute delight everything turned out lovely!!! I was a happy happy girl.
THIS SUNDAY I'M GOING BACK FOR THE UNDERWATER WORLD! Hehehee. (I think)
There wasn't anything yummy to eat in Sentosa...
So we settled for microwaved 7-Eleven meals. o_____o;
Photobucket
THOROUGHLY DEVOURED IN A FEW MINUTES!
Anyway I found out a new trick to make gassy drinks non-gassy!
We bought a bottle of 7 up that had wayy too much gas, so James kept shaking the bottle and opening it up, closing it and shaking it and opening it again.
Make sure to be careful when you're opening the bottle cuz the gas tends to "erupt" like a volcano! Heheh.
I was wondering what the hell hes doing until I realized he was releasing the gas! Ingenious, really =P
Now I can enjoy the taste of Sprite with just the right amount of gas I want in my drink!
.
.
.
Wasn't before long that we had to go for our show~
Photobucket
Ta-dah!!
I have to admit though, strangers are much nicer at Sentosa, they always seem to willing to help you to take photos!
Maybe cuz the ambience and environment is alot better - afterall, everyone's here to enjoy.
The Songs Of the Sea show was alright, at the start was kinda lame, with some cliche singing and acting and young talents running around...
Then came the parts I've been waiting for!!
Photobucket
WOOOOT! Fire display!! James' favourite.
Totally awesome, you can feel the heat waves rushing towards you even though the mini explosions are so far away.
REMINDED ME OF UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IN FLORIDA!
They had alot of cool in-house exhibitions and rides where similiar "explosions" took place. I remember the same feeling - feeling the heat rush towards you, and 1 second later, its gone!
Photobucket
Then came my favourite - the waterworks!
And THIS reminded of BELLAGIO in LAS VEGAS!
The Bellagio's version.
I remember being there with my dad..
Eeek, seems like I keep having nostalgia attacks!
Sweet sweet memories, Jessica cherishes them all... ("v")
Anyway...
Photobucket
More annoying tourists... =(
Who kept pushing people around as well! WHATS WITH INCONSIDERATE TOURISTS THESE DAYS?!
They wouldn't shut up even when the show was going on...
Photobucket
Im not much of a photographer, but I think I can capture good timings!
Photobucket
SUCH AS THIS FINALE!!! This is a winner.
Loved the sudden outburst of mini fireworks =)
Anticipating NDP's fireworks anxiously!!!! Fireworks make me very, very happy.
After the show ended, and when everyone was leaving... While Sentosa was getting empty..
Me and James headed up to a little corner where the ambience was absolutely romantic.
I don't really know what they call it, but when it lights up at night, it's beautiful. If you go to Sentosa often enough, you'd know what I'm talking about!
The part which looks like a mini palace / castle and its a long pathway with mini fountains thingys.
Doesn't look like much here because the guy who took the picture used FLASH, thus killing the romantic lighting completely...
Oh well. Nevermind, as long as the moment lives on in my heart! =D
I LOVE YOU BABY!!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful day, you pampered me and I enjoyed myself until I'm going crazy with happiness, tee hee hee!
I've never felt this genuinely happy in a long time. Not since the day you left.
It really proves that even when things get ugly, no matter how fucked up things get, we always find a way to mend the broken pieces back together again.
That's how strong our love is!
Too bad for our ferocious tempers... =X
I will learn to treasure this 1000000000% and make it work this time.
---------------------------------
And that was my fabulous day summarized into one post. I am never that good at expressing my feelings anymore, I wonder why..
Well, time for me to go take a shower now!!
I took a painfully long time to create this post..
the uploading of big photos is always such a pain in the ass.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed blogging it!
I really wish I could fill you guys in completely on what happened, but there are some things that just can't be put into words =)
If I see one more "photo bandwidth exceeded" sign, I DONT CARE!!!! I even created 2 photobucket accounts, and the 2nd one, barely like 2 weeks old, has already exceeded its bandwidth as well so yeah whatever.
Am considering shifting to another image hosting site for good. Grrrr.
Till then, my loves!
Leave a comment in my tagboard, my taggie's back!! =)
As usual, nonsensical remarks shall be nonchalantly deleted by Yours Truly.
P.S - all the super sweet comments left by you guys in my Chantago is really getting me diabetes!! HONESTLY, why are some of you readers soooo goddamn sweet?
I wanna cuddle you all to death, hahaha! LOVEEEEE~
Thank you truckloads for all the awesome comments and well-wishes, darlings! Yes yes, congratulations to me for getting back to James!! Hehehe
xoxo,
Jessica
