The launch of Shiberty's Sweets!!!

So I have exciting news to share with you guys!!!!!!!!!!!

As you all might already know, I've been really busy with a project recently. And today it's finally coming to life, like for real!!!

Thanks to the lovely response from you guys regarding my previous post asking if anyone would like to order personalized cupcakes from us...

Sam and I have decided to OFFICIALLY start selling em through our very own website! I spent the whole of yesterday and today setting it up, and finally I'm done after many hours of hard work :D

Here's a screenie to show you peoplel!

My new website is called

SHIBERTY'S SWEETS!!!

And it's located at http://shibertys.blogspot.com ♥ ♥ ♥

I was going to name it shibertyssweets.blogspot.com, but the double S kinda bugs me and shiberty.blogspot.com is already taken -_-

Presumably by one of my readers.... who like to chop peoples names... for what?!?

Anyway, do you like the layout? Does it work fine on your browser?

I know it's a very basic blogskin, I had to put it together in quite a hurry. I had basic coding help from blogskins.com, made the banner myself with photoshop and edited the pink cupcake from this free graphics page, and the rest are free for all trinkets and backgrounds I conveniently found on the web. Yay!!!!

So I know it's not very professional looking and it's childish (kinda like my blog, right?) but I didn't study design or coding so cut me some slack? I think it's superbly cute at least :)

Speaking of which, I desperately need to find a professional designer to design my website for me..... at a decent rate. I'll do a free advertorial for ya portfolio! Any takers? Shiberty@hotmail.com!

I can't believe I'm selling cakes and cupcakes now, y'all!!!

I seriously never saw myself as the kinda girl. I could barely even crack an egg and fry it in the past, now I'm actually SELLING food items wtf!!!!

Recent order that I did - sunflower cupcakes ♥

I am actually REALLY pleased with this cake selling business, because I'm (working towards) achieving something I thought almost impossible. Many months ago, I was watching people making and decorating cakes on Youtube and I thought to myself...

"Doesn't that awfully look fun?" and for some reason I got really into it and wanted to set up a bakery so bad!! Of course, I had no idea how to bake or to even work an electric mixer so it was out of the question back then. I told Sam about my ideas and he said he'd support me if I decided to go down that path.

He even drew a sign that said "Shiberty and DaNang's bakery" but we settled on the name "Shiberty's Sweets" instead because, well... Shiberty is already a known name to you guys and other people, I use it for my blog, facebook and others so what the heck, might as well throw in free advertising for my blog in the mean time haha! Plus since it's a recognizable name, I hope this way people would be more inclined to trust me with their orders and have faith in our abilities.

Like, if I were to name it something generic like "Delightful Desserts" or something, who the hell would recognize it right?! But I think "Shiberty's Sweets" has a nice ring to it which will stick in people's head so yay!!!!

As I was saying before, many months ago I had this dream where one day I'd sell pretty desserts for people to enjoy on their birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions. Just something about looking at a pretty cake brings me so much happiness, you know? /drama/

I wanted to share this joy with other people, but I didn't know how to.

Some of you might even remember the days where I couldn't bake a basic cake properly, it'd fail MAJORLY, see pic here

LOL so yeah.... I'll say I've come a far way along.

Of course I know I'm not at a professional level yet, there are many things I can improve on and many skills to be learned but I feel so productive and happy that I can turn a hobby into something that will earn me some money AND make other people (plus myself) pleased at the same time!

Receiving positive comments from people and customers makes me grin like crazy, it's really what keeps me doing what I do.

I wanna thank my readers for their encouragement, because without my blog audience, this could've never taken off! Without your overwhelmingly positive response for all my blog posts, I wouldn't be inspired to take this a step further and without your willingness to support me, nobody would even be buying cakes from me in the first place.

My grandmother saw me working 4-5 hours on 15 cupcakes the other day, and she frowned at me and said in Hokkien, "Why are you doing this? I've been seeing you work from morning to late afternoon, just for these small little cakes, how much are you selling them? Can you really earn that much money? Is it worth the effort?"

She tried to convince me to give it up as it wasn't worth it, and for a moment I did ask myself.... Wtf? I could be blogging for more than half a thousand per advertorial and it'd take me the same amount of time or even less, but I'd be earning so much more.

Or I could even be setting up a blog shop or taking shoots - why am I selling cakes at a miserable amount of profit?!

But then I remembered that I'm not doing this for the money, I'm doing it for the satisfaction it brings me. Maybe next time I'll start charging higher prices and think about the monetary value of this whole business, but for now, I just wanna do what makes me happy. I'm not in desperate need of money anyway, and I'd much rather do something that makes me happy but doesn't pay much then to do something I'm not excited about and have it pay a lot more.

I don't know how long I can keep selling these cakes, since I'm going overseas to study soon (term stats in July, for the billionth time I'm telling ya) but send in your orders while you can, people!!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I'll try to blog about other things besides just baking stuff but as you can imagine, I'm terribly busy at the moment. And I've been going out a lot less.... Suddenly, I don't feel so interesting anymore. Meh.

Nonetheless, remember that I ♥ y'all!!!! ^_____^

And thank you, once again, for giving me the opportunity to pursue another interest of mine. You all have been incredible :')

Things I'll miss in Singapore when I'm gone...

So, it all feels very real now.

When I think about it, my heart beats a little faster, and I sorta spaz out and panic thinking, "OMG I have so little time left!!!!"

Now you might think I'm going to die, but no... really, what I'm talking about is going overseas to study. I've been talking about this FOREVER, like what, since 2009????

But NOW it's finally happen!!! Paying my first deposit for my school fees, applying for a student visa and looking for accommodation.. It's only going to be 3 years, and I'm sure I'll come back to visit Singapore often, so why am I so nervous??

Chill out Jess!!!!!!!

You are only going to move to a completely different country filled with white people instead of asians and you have to learn to drive or take public transport and enter university and hope to make new friends and hope your new life doesn't turn out absolutely horrible and hope your boyfriend treats you nicely when you're stuck in the same house together.

As terrible as I make it sound out to be (just the nerves talking) I'm sure it will be awesome anyway!! I am SO excited about the cooler weather, changing seasons, nice beaches, outgoing people, new school environment and everything else.

So I keep talking about Australia, what about.... SINGAPORE?!?!!?!?

Some people are under the impression that I hate my own home country so much that I desperately wanna escape it, but that's not completely true.

I'll admit that I definitely prefer living in another country than Singapore, but Singapore is lovely in it's own way too!!!! So this post I wanna show some love to my hometown, especially since I'm moving out for the first time in my life omfg I'm so going to miss it more than I'd EVER know!!!!

Here you go SG!!!!
You are not just a "fine" green city! For my overseas readers who've never been to our little city before, here's what you can expect to love about it.

Awesome thing about Singapore I'll miss #1:
Safety.

I CANNOT stress this enough, how grateful I am to be living in a safe country like Singapore. It is undoubtedly the best attribute about this place. Fuck "golden work opportunities". The working environment here is like shit (worse actually), but where else in the world can you take a stroll down the streets at 3am and feel completely safe and at ease?!!!

WHERE????

Where else will you never get earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, forest fires, floods, (come on Orchard Road flood nothing la), volcano eruptions and other freak of nature disasters???

NADA!

Our country is so protected by a cluster of surrounding neighbour country and islands that we are pretty much protected from any catastrophe ever happening to us except world war 3.

The very recent Japan earthquake tragedy really got to me and realized how fortunate we Singaporeans are in the sense we'll never have to wake up one day to our houses being swept away by tsunami or risk getting crushed under falling debris.

I know I haven't blogged about it, but I don't like blogging about sad things.. my heart really goes out to everyone who was affected :(

But back to SG.

We may have our (rare) occasional cases of psychos and murderers and idiotic gangsters slashing people up, but that's really NOTHING compared to what other countries have to deal with. Almost every single time I've been on holiday, I've had to freak out about my safety. People always tell you to "be careful." when you travel..

Has anyone ever been to Singapore and needed to be "Extra careful"??? More like you can let your guard down! I've heard stories of people going to the supermarket at 3am in America to get a midnight snack, and poof, what happens? They get mugged and they're at gun point. That's what happens when guns are so readily available in a country.

And I totally believe that because when me and Sam were in Florida catching a movie at 10pm, we saw this super dodgy black dude walking around with a fucking KNIFE wrapped up in newspaper. I imagine he just chopped someone up with it.

NO KIDDING.

I have never seen anyone else in another country brandishing a knife around like that. It wasn't a pussy sissy lil butter knife either it was like a parang wtf. If you dunno what parang is pls google. What would you do if you walked past a psycho-looking person holding a dangerous-looking knife unashamedly? Quickly avoid eye contact and hope he doesn't suddenly decide to stab you with it??? That's what I had to do.

Having been to Australia a couple of times, I think it's rather safe but in my opinion NOWHERE is safe when compared to Singapore. I'm afraid I won't be used to being exposed to dangers out there and will easily become prey because I'm so inexperienced in that sense.

Dude, once my friend Gwen who lives in Perth told me that on her way home from school, she got attacked by this vicious bird (magpie, is it?) that ATTACKED and pecked her until she ran home crying!!! And this bird lived around the school grounds and supposedly took a boy's EYES OUT. I dunno whether it's true or not but my mouth is hung open in horror right now wtf.

I've never come into contact with any wildlife in Singapore before, the most I've had is the occasional stray kitten and dog, and sometimes giant rats or cockroaches, that's it. Human-attacking birds?! No way!!!!!

Please please please let me not meet any weird people in Perth and have that taint my impression of 90% of Australians being super nice educated friendly and all.

Awesome thing about Singapore I'll miss #2
: Food.

I'll miss bedok 85's $2.50 bowl of minced pork noodles, Jumbo's black pepper crabs, and I'll DEFINITELY miss my favourite Indian restaurant at Far East Plaza (Mumtaz Mahal, 5th floor. Plz go patronize them when I'm not around so the business won't dao bi and it'll still be here when I get back, thanks!)

Food in Singapore is cheap and good!!! Hawker food is the best. You can get a nice meal for under $10 SGD, and what's even better is the fact that food is available EvvvvEErrrYyyWWhhEErreee and some places even open 24/7.

Everyone raves about Singapore's food!!! There is something for everyone. All sorts of cuisines, reasonable prices... extremely accessible...what's not to like?

All my overseas friends get super jealous when I tell em we have Maccas 24/7 delivered to our doorsteps here. Woot woot! I know McDee's isn't the best food ever and nothing to be jealous of, but seriously? When you're hungry at 4am, you're not going to be complaining.

The only meal of the day I really can't be bothered to cook is breakfast because I'm always too tired in the morning. Thanks to Maccas I am also like 5kg heavier though lol. /hate

Awesome thing about Singapore I'll miss #3:
Late night Karaoke and Taxis!!!!

Taxis are so wonderfully cheap in Singapore... :')

It's my main mode of transportation and if it wasn't at such a reasonable rate, I'd be forced to take the train which I really really hate. I hate standing around and rush hour traffic. I don't mind long bus rides so much though, as long as I have iPod with me.

Most cabbies are knowledgeable and trustworthy enough, so you can fall asleep in the cab without being raped. I do it all the time.

As for the karaoke thing, I'm a huge singing addict, I like to pretend I'm my own Mariah Carey but I dunno if they have good karaoke systems in Australia!! Considering Perth is like the most expensive city in the whole of Aus (correct me if I'm wrong but I hear from people it's true), I'm assuming karaoke would be ridiculously overpriced such as their taxis, so I will be doing it a lot less. So I'll miss it :(

One thing I won't miss though, is the shit service at International Building's Party World KTV. Disgusting customer treatment and I'm glad service in Aus is generally much better.

Awesome thing about Singapore I'll miss #4:
Nightlife.

I don't mean partying at clubs and stuff, but more of the fact that stores open late all the time! There's always something to do at night, be it a midnight movie or karaoke or playing pool or whatnot. Can't believe shops close at 5pm in Perth. That's retarded. It will save me a lot of money at least -_-

This city is always full of life!!!

And everyone sleeps late in Singapore hahaha!!! The average person sleeps later than 12am. I like staying up till late at night surfing the net and bothering online peeps and going for spontaneous suppers and having lengthy MSN conversations, so no idiot will ring my phone in the morning. I definitely prefer nights to mornings

(well in SG at least, maybe things will change in Aus)

Awesome thing about Singapore I'll miss #5:
Tech-savvyness.

Eh, what's the proper word for it?! State of the art infrastructure? Media-absorbed geeks? I love it. I love how there's 3g connection and free WIFI everywhere I go, and how Singapore always keeps up with the times when it comes to media. Media is so big here, everyone blogs, uses twitter, facebook etc!!!!!

There's TV screens in taxis, giant LCD screens on the walls of malls and other cool stuff everywhere!

As you can tell, a lot of my life exists online or is technology-based (gaming, blogging, etc) so it's a huge deal to me. I still think of Aus as a very country kind of country (wow that didn't make sense at all) so I hope I won't be too affected by how "slow" the country is.

Singapore is always improving, revonating, the malls at Orchard Road are always new and sparkly, awesome!!!

OMG I HOPE MY NET DOESN'T GET CAPPED IN PERTH!!

Liddis how to blog????

Apparently they have a limit for downloads (SMLJ?) and many gamers get capped internet so once you go over the limit (which isn't a lot) your internet is basically unusable (painfully slow speeds) and ya gotta wait till next month for the meter to reset. GROSS.

...Ok, this is all I can think of for now!!!

You can add what else you love about Singapore in my comments if you like, it's always nice seeing people show some love for their country ♥

Of course, I'll also miss my readers in Singapore!

I may not have met all of you before but I kind of like getting recognized on the streets (oops my secret is out) and believing I am semi-famous to a certain group of people. :P

When I go to Perth, it won't be "Jessica the blogger" anymore, I will be known as "That chick from Singapore" or something. It's like my identity will be lost almost, I bet it'll feel weird to be completely unknown and supposedly unimportant.

Nobody gives two shits about international students!!!!!! Boo

Buttercream cuppies!!! ♥

Hewo!! Another baking post because they make me happy :D

After doing a full whipped cream cake, Sam and I were really inspired to try making buttercream cupcakes after hearing much raved about reviews on how good they taste and look!!

My sparkly new Wilton decorating tips!!!
Happpeeeeeeee ♥

We went out to get a whole shit heap of baking supplies!!! Burned a hole in my pockets but worth it... I hope lol.

I still can't get over how expensive baking is, you'd think it's a cheap and easily sustainable hobby that bored housewives easily do but NO!! It's neither easy or cheap. Wtf. Why do I have to like expensive past times??

Photography, and now baking which I hoped would be more pocket-friendly but boy was I wrong haha. Not as extreme as photography but daaammnnn one stick of butter is 3 dollars, one muffin pan is 20 dollars, food colouring is 20+ dollars... just to give you an idea of how much it totals up to.

Now I know why people sell customized cakes for 100+!! I always thought it was "just eggs and flour what". -_-

Excited to play with these tips!!!!

...ok maybe I'm just a dirty minded girl but that sounded kinda wrong.

Rose nail!

This is where you're meant to pipe the flower on, then transfer it on the cake. Wowowow I feel so professional now

Whipping the buttercream!!!

I can't really give you an exact recipe, we kinda just winged it as we went along... We added icing sugar, egg whites, butter, and vanilla essence. It took quite a bit of tweaking before we got the right consistency, but you could work on this basic recipe:

2 stick of salted butter (about 400-500 grams), about 400 grams of icing sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence and 2 egg whites. If your butter is unsalted, add salt to cut down on the sweetness.

Start by making sure the butter is slightly melted (not liquid, just soft!), whip it reaaaaalll good till it's super fluffy, then gradually add sugar and egg whites in. Most people use shortening instead of butter and milk instead of egg whites, but I ran out of shortening plus milk would make the buttercream WAY too buttery, it won't hold up in SG's weather.

As for the cupcakes recipe, you'll find various recipes in my archive :)

My sweet chocolate cupcakes baking in the oven!!!! I assure you I didn't have more than 2 whole cupcakes...........

Bright colors are totally essential for pretty looking cupcakes!!!! I swear by using gel food colouring for concentrated colors.

Sam's first attempt at making a rose!!! Pretty good for a first try eh?

HAHAHAHAAH my first try. What a bloody fail!!!!!!!! *hides face*

But as you can see, the buttercream was all gooey and melted by the time he finished doing his rose, so I got the shit end of the deal :(

I know you're all tired of me complaining about it but I really DO HATE Singapore's weather!!!

♥ ♥ ♥ My boyfriend proposing to me with a buttercream rose :P

Second try!!!!

Looks a lot better already! But the buttercream still doesn't look "dense" enough, like it's too "fluffy" - I think the recipe we used wasn't very ideal.... but I'm not complaining, everything can be improved with practice!

The good thing about it being "fluffy" though, is that it's actually a lot yummier this way!! Doesn't taste as sweet or feel as dense when you bite into it. It's just a fluffy explosion of creamy flavour :D

Piping the rose onto the cupcake directly!!!!

People always ask, "how do you get your boyfriend to do such things with you?!"

Well what can I say? Me and Sam have very similar hobbies! It's just like how I can spend days and days playing zombie blasting online games with him which most other girlfriends don't do either.

And Sam is very willing to please me (sounds obnoxious but it's true), so even if he's not super excited about doing something he'd do it anyway to make me happy. But he does enjoy baking though!!! He's quite an artsy person and he likes decorating cakes as he finds it a challenge :)

And sorry for the lack of inbetween pics, but my hands were covered in flour sugar butter and whatnot so I didn't wanna get my camera dirty.

Anyway this is our end product!!!!! NICE???

Can you see the flower details??? :D I love it!!!!

I think it's fab for what we had to work with!!! I woulda added more details but we made a giant bowl of buttercream yet only 1/4 was good enough quality to work with. (unmelted, that is.)

Random design... lol don't ask me what it's meant to be :S

Second batch - a more "sophisticated" looking batch!!!

I can't decide which batch I like more :D Obviously the first one suits me more (I made them!) and Sam chose the design for the blue roses..

Our cupcakes combined!!!! ^_________^

Sitting there so pretty all ready to take over the world with their yumminess. :P

Drown in its prettiness now.

I can't wait to make these again!!!!

The only problem I see is that there's nobody to eat them :(

My brother had 1 cupcake out of like 20, he doesn't really like cakes, Sam had 3, I had 2, and my neighbours like more than 10 LOL. I always bake random stuff and end up knocking on their door offering to them hahaha I am gonna make their 2 year old daughter fat!!!

They're such nice folks though, always so friendly and always super polite and appreciative when I present them with cakes / cupcakes / cookies / whatever baking spree I go on.

They told me I should start selling my cupcakes and that they'd totally buy from us!!!!!

And I'm thinking... YEAH!!!

That's a good idea!

No one ever eats my cakes at home anyway, so I might as well bake for people who'd appreciate it! So I've decided to start taking orders on customized cupcakes for birthday celebrations, office parties, farewell dinners, or just a gift for someone special!

I can do customized cupcakes, cookies, cakes... with the design you want!

All you have to do is tell me what sort of cupcake flavour you want, how many you're ordering, the design (with picture references hopefully), any text / msg etc and any other details, when you need them by etc...

You know, all the nitty gritty details, and send them to Shiberty@hotmail.com! Or if you're not really sure, just drop me a mail with a vague idea you have and we can discuss the fine details :D

Don't worry, I don't bite!!!

Now, since the whole point of this is to actually bake for people who'd appreciate them instead of making money out of it, I will not be charing the normal price outside for customized cupcakes (since I'm not even professional anyway, I just do it for fun and to please people so please bear that in mind in case you're expecting pastry quality from a top restaurant!!! Expect home made quality cupcakes!)

What I'll do is I'll calculate the basic production cost of your order, then let you know that figure and from there you can quote me any price - how much you'd like to pay us for our effort, or how much you think they're worth based on your own satisfaction, as long as it meets my basic cost price requirement, so I'm not actually losing anything besides a heap of time and effort.

I'm really not fussy about the money, I just like baking for a purpose and not seeing it go to waste, so if you're interested, drop me a mail at Shiberty@hotmail.com and help me spread the word!

Honestly I don't even know whether anyone would order or how this would turn out like, but I hope I get at least 1 or 2 orders so I get to try doing customized special orders for experience sake n___n

I need to practice a lot more, but I always run out of ideas so share some with me if you have any!!!!! I'll be willing to hear out any opinions!

xoxo,
Jess

Short hair!!!! Again.

Mum came back from her trip awhile back and we surprised her with the birthday cake we baked as she came through the door!!!

She was all like, "Wow!! This cake is very nice."

...NICE?! Nice is a gross understatement mum!! You should be like "ZOMG WHAT A PRO CAKE!!" :P

Hahaha cuz my bro recently called my mum "a noob" and my mum immediately shot back, "YOU'RE THE NOOB ONE AH!" at dinner. So fucking hilarious we all cracked up loudly in the middle of a public restaurant!!!!

Betcha noob mums don't use the word NUB!!!

On my way to get my hair done in mama's car!!!!!

Here I've just got my brow embroidery touch up done @ Browhaus Paragon! So the next few pics I should be sporting perfect(ly fake) eyebrows. :D

Pls do a google search to look for my previous Browhaus entry before asking me unnecessary questions about how it went etc ok!!!

It was quite painful as usual :(

But super worth it!!!! I actually feel much more confident now with nice-looking well defined eyebrows. Before I had two botak batches that would make my heart sink everytime I looked at them!

I'm now thinking whether I should back off from the red lippie from now on. Some people say it looks great but others say like shit, too old, etc etc.

I dunno why Sam can never look normal in an average camwhoring shot haha!

I was having a good face day that day, so minimal PS-ing was needed. Joy! ^____^

My hair looks nice enough in this picture, but good golly me... You'll see the real horror that it is soon enough!!!

Looks like a squirrel burrowed in my hair, had a bitch fit, flailed around endlessly before finally dying and decomposing there.

Wait, have I used that line already? I always say that to describe my hair. It seems like the only apt description there is.

Very happy with my new eyebrows ^.^

And mum got me this spiffy black lacey top!!!! Thanks momma!

I was camwhoring a lot to distract myself from the annoying traffic and puking :( I get car sick so easily. It's almost always a guaranteed headache + nausea.

At Clover @ Far East Plaza getting my hair done!!!!!!!!! I got to know the owner of the salon through a friend a coupla years ago and they've always done my hair very nicely and they're friendly too!!!!

Great service and professionalism so give it a go!

My hair was DISGUSTINGLY TANGLED omg they should star ME in "A Tangled Tale" instead of that blonde chick.

I'm surprised they had the patience to just sit there and pick at the tangles for like, 1 and half hours?!

Fail attempt at taking a picture of my stylist doing my hair at the top of my head lol.

But now you get a glorious view of my nostrils ^.^

Oh my, don't mind my bald spot X____X

I would PS it away but I'm lazy.

What?! I'm human and flawed too despite how impossible it seems!!!

Mmmmmmhm.

Lo and behold!

My beautiful hair.

I told you a squirrel died in there!!!!!! You have no idea how hard it was to wash my hair, sleep at night, or do anything without feeling like I'm walking around with a bird's nest on my head. :(

I am SO GLAD IT'S ALL OUT!! Thank you Clover! They didn't charge me extra for the amount of time, trouble and extra manpower required to take out my tangles. I reckon other salons would have charged a fee or turned me away.

Because really, who would want to face that shit?

ALL OUT!!! TYTYTYTYT SO HAPPY. Yup that's what my hair looks like wet, if you ever wanna imagine me fresh out of the shower xD

They snipped off quite a bit of hair and A LOT of clumps just... fell out of my head. Apparently they were already fallen off but got tangled so they didn't drop just yet.

I'm pretty sure all the crazy combing broke many hair strands as well too lol.... worse than having hair extensions.

Having my head massaged and hair washed by the stylist after all my tangles were out and running a comb through my hair without a single knot was one of the most AMAZING feelings ever.

Everytime I get my hair all done nicely, I tell myself.... "Don't worry hair, I'll take care of you from now on!! Never again will I disgrace you and let you turn to shit" but it's always a lie :'(

Give it a couple of months and my hair would have something drastic happening to it again. Goodbye, dreams of silky long hair.

And this is me with short hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At Marina Bay Sands nomming on dinner buffet after doing hair. ^.^

I personally don't think there's a HUGE difference. I did chop a significant lengthy chunk off, but for some reason I'm not looking at myself going... "Omg, what happened?!"

Guess I'm too used to ever-changing hairstyles!!! I know I probably look best with normal long hair but I do enjoy change every once in awhile. I'd HATE to have the same hair constantly.

So so so do you like it?????????

If you think it's auntie don't tell me ok I don't wanna hear!!!!! The hair stylist told me I look very Korean, hua hua hua so I don't care watchu say u just jeluz I know it.

My expression is obviously... "SO, you like my new hair????"

Why am I so easy to read!!!!!!!!!

Dunno what's so funny. I think I was just delirious with hunger.

LIKE I AM NOW. Fml so hungry but nothing to eat except amazingly gorgeous and yummy cupcakes I baked earlier today, which I will be sharing with y'all soon.

But cupcakes aren't the same as savoury food :(

-waits till 4am so I can order Maccas breakfast... it's 3am now-

Random pic of Jer and Jan because they waited for me to do my hair for like 2 hours so we could have diner together. TQ for your patience!!! ^.^

And LOOKIE! Jan cut her beautiful long hair short too!!!!!!! She obviously looks a lot cuter in that hairstyle than me. Plus her hair actually looks healthy, not like mine, all fried :p

I must say that having short hair is very refreshing though.

This is probably THE SHORTEST I've had it my whole life!!!!!

Save cost on shampoo + conditioner, absolutely NO tangles, since styling is so limited you don't have to spend a lot of time maintaining it.... hell yeah. Plus I think I look "Fresh" in a way. LOL.

Like "fresh" out of a chemistry lab explosion - "Dude, what happened to your hair?!" is a question I can predict I'm going to be asked a lot in the near future.

Since I'm so effing hungry, here are some random food pics we've cooked recently.

I told BB boy I haven't had good mushroom soup in ages (outside sell one all Campbell or premade shit yucks) and he made me gourmet mushroom soup blended from fresh PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS!

Also a heart puff pasty to fill me up!!! I love youuuuu ♥ Sweet or what?!!

In return, late at night I made him some roasted vegetables... Roasted onions, whole mushrooms, tomatoes (spiced + seasoned heavily of course so it's MAJOR yums)

And potatoes!!!!!

I'm over roasting potatoes. Boiling then frying them ensures better consistency, plus it's kinda easier too!

Bloody hell I need to stop thinking about food T____T

....Fine I shall go play Neopets now to take my mind off food. Haha what a convenient excuse.

2 self absorbed pictures to end this post with.

You are given permission to marvel at my astounding beauty k thxbye.
